With the wind and weather constantly changing I thought I would ask a couple of questions about the two locations we are hunting. For instance option A we have a set up as shown facing south. How would you set up your spread with the wind changing directions from the SW and/or NW. Same question would apply for option B which is in a flooded terrace just up from the pond.

Otion A:

Otion B:

This is the type of reaction you can get from option B when your three year old enjoys hunting with dad.

Sorry so long, but isn't that what hunting is all about.

Thanks, Sean

B looks like a sweet setup. I would take that one 99% of the time.

I would choose A under the circumstance that the wind/weather is changing and beginning to blow onto the water from directly behind me.

I'd probably take B until it freezes hard then give me B, some decoys and a good duck call.

I think on Option A I'd take a cross wind or quartering wind and on B I'd leave the decoys set and move myself.
Good looking spots,
Dan
