Does anybody know of any good areas around Grand Forks to hunt birds? (ducks, geese, and upland) I'm new to the area and am getting tired of driving 4-5 hours every weekend to hunt. Is the WMA's around the area any good for waterfowl? Appreciate any responses! :D

4 to 5 hours away from G.F.? Try going 35 miles west on 2 and for the next 200 hundred miles you'll be in Duck & Goose heaven...From Niagra to Williston! Warning, The Devils Lake area is very posted...I like the Niagra-Michigan areas for waterfowl. Upland Game...Sharptails are showing up all over G.F. County which is something new...For good sharptail shooting try west of Aneta...About 45 min. away. Partridge are scattered across G.F. county, but not very common. Pheasants try the S.E. part of the state for decent hunting & not as posted! SW is where the birds are at for $200 bucks a gun or the central & NW have a fair population of pheasants. Welcome to the Grand Cities! :sniper:
