Looking for a piece or two of advise. I traditional hunt the DL area north, east and west of town. I usually drive 30-40miles out of town to try to get away from the people. This year I opted out of an early trip and decided to only come to Nodak one time to try to catch the migration. I was wondering if anyone has some advise for me as far as avoiding the crowds of more and more people every year around DL. I already have reservations in DL, but I think we'll be driving north. I would like to keep it within 90 miles??(maybe around the border?) and I'm willing to put a day or two of scouting in before we even hunt. Any areas or contacts that would come to mind would be greatly appreciated. The only thing I won't do is pay to hunt. Dinner and cocktails are never out of the question though. Thanks in advance and try to keep the ice off the sloughs until at least the 20th!
