Marjorie presides over y'all.

It would be funny if it was not so serious.
She is still saying she would have "won" the January 6 insurrection if she had been armed.
God save us all.
I thought you didn't believe in God.
Can you give us a referance where she made that statement about the Jan 6 capitol police entrapment? The only thing I can find by Google is her sarcastic humor much like Trump asking if the Russians could find Hillary's 33,000 missing emails. Of course the democrats took that seriouse too. I doubt they are that subintelligent, but they think the American people are. I'm not sure maybe that's the problem democrats really are that lacking in intelligence. No no I think they are evil.

Isn't this enough for you?

Marjorie Taylor Greene, the de facto leader of the House GOP, declared at a right-wing gala that if she and Steve Bannon had organized the January 6 attack on the Capitol, the mob would have (1) “been armed” and (2) “won” the insurrection, the goal of which was to illegally install Donald Trump for a second term.
Marjorie Taylor Greene Says If She And Bannon Planned Jan. 6, 'We Would Have Won'.

Marjorie Taylor Greene IS the mainstream GOP.

Here she is making bats hit crazy remarks about RBG and a body double.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is now presiding over the United States House of Representatives. This is who Republicans put in charge." Do you need more posts documenting her craziness? Are you proud of her?

And you are right. I consider myself a secular humanist who is surely agnostic but leaning more toward atheist every day. I hope that does not cause you to think less of me! LOL. Seriously I know you couldn't think less of me. I don't care one way or the other really. The USA needs to separate church and state.

While I'm on a rant...do you know anything about Canada's Truth and Reconcilliation efforts. They are the exact opposite of your anti Critical Race Theory. We have a racism problem in Canada and the only way to help fix the problem is to recognize that it exists after centuries of abuse and genocide. Truth and Reconciliation is about the tragic history of Canada's residential schools and the ongoing efforts to use education and discussion to move toward reconciliation. What are you all afraid of when it comes to teaching black history?

Canuck....

Nothing wrong with teaching history and the events that happened. The issue with CRT is that it is saying that SKIN COLOR is the main factor in everything now. It is preaching the myth of "privilege". That is the issue. It is honestly teaching that BLACK people cant advance in todays world because of "privilege".... really?? Had a black president, have a female black VP, many millionaires are black/POC, top performing artists are people of color, sports heroes, politicians, doctors, teachers, executives, etc.

That is the issue with CRT. BTW... the 1619 project (referenced in the cartoon) has gotten denounced by many as being FALSE and full of crap. Not just conservatives but by many in liberal circles and in acidemia.

One of the best things i ever saw out there (by Charles Barkley) he stated that the problem is with media, parents and society. He mentioned that when he would go speak at schools and ask students what do they want to be... he stated that the majority of "black" students would say professional sports player or an music artist. When he asked the same thing to white students... he would get a few would say sports, actor/actress, and music stars... but many stated nurse, doctor, teacher, etc. He stated that the black populus is the main reason along with media types for keeping blacks down. Also another great thing i saw was from the actor Morgan Freeman talk about race and racism. He went off on a interviewer and stated that if people stopped bringing "race" into everything it would slowly disappear. Why say someone is a BLACK ACTOR instead of Actor? Why say first black man/woman to do something.... instead of just recognize their skill set as a person. He blamed media and others for always putting labels on everyone.

So you see CRT and other things puts labels on people and also makes people think they will be held down just because of skin color. WHEN THAT ISNT 100% TRUE. Now I am not saying racism doesn't exist. It does on all levels and with every single race.... yes people treat others differently because of skin color... be it white vs black or even black vs white.
But now when you even put more labels on things it doesn't help anything.

I am not sure how to change the color of my text so I will use captors not to be loud, but to differentiate b my text from yours Canuck.

Isn't this enough for you? NO PROBLEM FOR ME. I SEE IT SIMPLY AS HYPERBOLE THAT WE ALL OFTEN USE AS A RELIEVE VALVE IN RESPONSE TO FRUSTRATION.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, the de facto leader of the House GOP, declared at a right-wing gala that if she and Steve Bannon had organized the January 6 attack on the Capitol, the mob would have (1) “been armed” and (2) “won” the insurrection, the goal of which was to illegally install DAonald Trump for a second term. I THINK THE ELECTION WAS ILLEGAL. I DONT KNOW IF IT WAS ILLEGAL ENOUGH TO CHANGE ANYTHING, BUT IF YOU CAN BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF YOU ALSO KNOW THIS.
Marjorie Taylor Greene Says If She And Bannon Planned Jan. 6, 'We Would Have Won'.

Marjorie Taylor Greene IS the mainstream GOP. NO THE MAINSTREAM GOP ARE RINOS THAT ARE AS BAD AS THE DEMOCRATS.

Here she is making bats hit crazy remarks about RBG and a body double.
I CANT GET THE TWITTERVTO WORK. IM TRYING TO THINK WHO RGB IS.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is now presiding over the United States House of Representatives. This is who Republicans put in charge." Do you need more posts documenting her craziness? Are you proud of her? IM VERY PROUD OF HER

And you are right. I consider myself a secular humanist who is surely agnostic but leaning more toward atheist every day. WHY IS THAT? I hope that does not cause you to think less of me! LOL. Seriously I know you couldn't think less of me. YOUR WRONG AGAIN. ILL PRAY FOR YOUR DISERNMENT SO YOU MAY BETTER DIFERENTIATE BETWEEN TRUTH AND DECEPTION. I don't care one way or the other really. I HOPE THATS NOT TRUE The USA needs to separate church and state. WE DO, BUT THE SUPREME COURT DIDNT INTERPRET CORRECTLY. OUR CONSTITUTION SAYS CONGRESS SHALL ESTABLISH NO RELIGION OR SOMETHING CLOSE IM TO BUSY TO LOOK IT UP. WHAT MOST LIBERALS QUOTE IS SIMPLY A LETTER ADDRESSING A PERSONS WORRY.

While I'm on a rant...do you know anything about Canada's Truth and Reconcilliation efforts. NO They are the exact opposite of your anti Critical Race Theory. We have a racism problem in Canada and the only way to help fix the problem is to recognize that it exists NO, THE WAY TOBSOLVE IT IS QUIT FEEDING THE MONSTER BY TALKING ABOUT IT. CRITICAL RACE AND THE CANADIAN ABOMINATION BOTH MAKE THE NEXT GENERATION FUTURE RACISTS. MORGAN FREEMAN IN AN INTERVIEW SAID HE WAS PERFECT EVIDENCE THAT SYSTEMIC RACISM DOES NOT EXIST. after centuries of abuse and genocide. Truth and Reconciliation is about the tragic history of Canada's residential schools and the ongoing efforts to use education and discussion to move toward reconciliation. I DID READ THAT THE SCHOOL IN CANADA WHERE EVERYONE TALKED ABOUT ALL THE GRAVES WAS EXCAVATED AND THERE WERE NO GRAES. What are you all afraid of when it comes to teaching black history? I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST TEACHING NLACK HISTORY AS LONG AS THEY DONT TEACH THEM THAT WHITES HATE THEM TODAY. TODAY THERE IS NO ONE WHO KNOWS WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE A SLAVE AND NO ONE WHO KNOWS WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE A SLAVE OWNER. IT IS OPPOSITE OF WHAT MARTINE LUTHER KING TAUGHT.

Plainsman sorry I'm dyslexic...RBG not RGB. Sorry.

Chuck, I am trying to get a better understanding of what Critical Race Theory is. Do you mean the 1619 Project (from a couple years ago) was inaccurate or that the story of the first slaves brought to Virginia in 1619 was inaccurate.

There were more than 180 Residential Schools in Canada. Close to 150,000 Indian and Inuit children attended. The Schools were funded by the Governmnet and were operated by the Church (mostly Catholic but a few other denominations as well). More than 6,000 children died while attending. Their bodies were buried on site at the School cemetaries. The graves were marked at the time but when the schools were closed the Vatican had all headstones and markings removed and took the school records with them. That is why part of Truth and Reconciliation involves collecting information on the graves to determine the Truth. One of the most painful tasks of Canada’s seven-year Truth and Reconciliation Commission was an attempt to quantify the sheer number of Indigenous children who died at each Indian Residential School. Plainsman I have not heard of any graves being dug up only to find nothing there. That is just not true. We wish it was.

Chuck, we often try to deny that racism towards Indians no longer exists. That it is made up. And yet our justice system sees 70% of jailed inmates being Indian whereas Indians represent less than 15% of the population. So something is not right. Truth and Reconciliation is about the tragic history of Canada's residential schools and the ongoing efforts to use education and discussion to move toward reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in Canada. Reconciliation cannot happen without acknowledging the truth. I see so many similarities with the issues of racism in the USA.

Plainsman, I believe that religious dogma, superstition or supernaturalism are not needed in my daily decison making, I am capable of being ethical and moral without believing in a deityI. deology—be it religious or political—must be thoroughly examined by each individual and not simply accepted or rejected on faith. Along with this, I continue to adapt my search for truth, primarily through science. I respect everyones choice and opinions about religion but tend to keep my choices and beliefs to myself.

Not about the slaves showing up. But the fact about how slavery still HOLDS people down. That is the issue. Then like I mentioned the myth of "privilege".

Oh I understand what you are stating about the Indian population. That is one that both countries turn an eye towards. Look at the crime rate on Reservations, look at poverty levels, drug and alcohol addiction, etc.

I have read about the whole death, graves, murders, etc of the Native schools in Canada.

Often the most simple answer is the correct answer. Perhaps the answer is 15% of the population commits 70% of the crimes. I grew up on a reservation here in North Dakota. My view is those who profess to like native Americans do them damage. For example an old native proverb is "your friends make you weak, your e nemesis make you strong". Not unlike hmmm dont remember, but he is quote as saying "hard times make strong men while easy living builds weak men".

Edit: looking for information its all about Canada. I did see them blame the United States for Alaska, but I think the timeline is wrong. When we were in Alaska a native lady said to us "thank God when those white people come up the river". She said " my grandparents lived like animals following the caribou herds". "My parents lived in a log cabin with a stove". She said she was Athebaskan.

We're there bad things that happened to minorities? Yes, and to every other group on history if you go back far enough. Are Canada and the United States perfect. Absolutely not, and neither is any other country on earth. It was Christian ideals that worked to end slavery. When a Roman became Christian they were told not to mistreat their slaves, but treat them well and even pay them. Slaves had no rights in Rome, and if they were free they would simply be snapped up by someone else and perhaps mistreated. Paul gave instruction in the Bible to be kind to slaves.

not simply accepted or rejected on faith.
primarily through science.
I feel a lot like that. I can not muster enough faith to believe in evolution. Many claim "we have the fossil record". No they don't, they lie.

Edit:
Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.

My apologies to you then. My intent was to compare the Canadian response (Truth and Reconciliation) to the American experience labeled as Critical Race Theory. I would never tell an aboriginal person their history and what they should be doing about it. That said, I was surprised by your response to Canada's efforts to seek the truth and to use that truth to steer our actions aimed at reconciling our historical differences. I would have thought that your understanding would be better. I would have thought that American Indians would be very interested in the Truth and Reconciliation process and its outcomes. Just for interest sake, the Metis people that live in my area all resided in North Dakota and were run out of the State in the mid-1800's. Many of them still have family in ND that remained behind and blended in rather than escape persecution.

Chuck I guess kids in highschool are not yet that well-informed. They base their futures on their role models.

I lived in the Arctic for about 15 years. Inuit had this analogy about self-improvement (I know other cultures also use the same analogy). Inuit compared themselves to crabs in a bucket. Whenever one of the crabs started to climb out of the bucket, the other crabs would reach up with their claws and pull the escaping crab back down into the bucket.

Inuit men that are my age were born in igloos or tents. They went from the pre-contact/stone age to the space age in their lifetimes. Along the way many, many were physically and sexually abused by Priests in the Residential Schools. This past summer the Pope came to Canada to apologize for the terrible impact the Church had on First Nations children. The Pope did not apologize for the actions of the church but did ackowledge that there were some bad individuals involved with the Church workind as laymen and as maintenance people, etc. Many Inuit and Indians accepted that apology and continue to embrace Catholicism. I don't get it but that is neither here nor there in the big scheme of things.

Well it isnt even talking about "heros". It is the family dynamics of everything.

Now I coached youth sports for years and many kids and even parents would have "pie in the sky" type thoughts. I had to actually bring many down to reality. I played college level sports and it is a different animal than high school and even then youth sports. Which many never think about. I will say I never would "pee" in the cereal of the kids. But I would have real discussions with parents. One of my favorites was a group of parents kept talking about an age group of kids. Very talented and would win everything they participated in. They were saying "state" championships, kids getting scholarships to college, etc. I would say... yeah these kids could do that.... IF they keep progressing. Parents looked at me like... what do you mean. It will always be like this. Then I pointed out that the one kid was about "maxed" out on his growth. Others will get the same size or bigger. I mentioned about how that one kid doesn't like to work hard and just is going off his natural abilities... well at this age is good but what happens when everyone else catches up to his ability. I talked about how others will get other interests and what not. They all looked at me like I was crazy and the "good times" will never end. Well guess what... I pretty much predicted everything with that group of kids.

Just like Barkley stated in that video. 400 players in the NBA... out of 500,000+ kids who play high school basketball. Let that sink in. Again never crush a kids dreams.... you either try to help them advance or see the light and make a different decision.

I have a friend who sat his 12 year old son down and had an adult conversation with him about his sport of choice... HOCKEY. He said... right now you are in the middle of the pack with everyone else in your age grouping. He showed him the high school teams and what not. He said... do you want to be like them or not? His son thought about it... and said he wanted to be like them. Well he goes alright... now the work begins. So he jumped in with both feet... camps, training, try outs, etc. Well his son started to advance and move ahead of the pack. But it took an adult conversation to have that. Which many people wont do with there kids.

Now back with the Canada/US and native americans.... it is a sad history with what happened and it is sad that the predators saw that it was a group of people "forgotten" and took advantage of that. I will equate this with the whole "trans" issues of today. Honestly look at it.... there are trans kids that need help or help them find themselves and what is the right direction to go. But now you actually have Pedos who are seeing how they can take advantage of this...and the "fad" of it. They can say they are "helping" when they are just in it for themselves.

My apologies to you then.
lol you owe me no oppology Canuck. I enjoy your different perspective. and our bantering stimulates thought. If you were closer I woukd shake your hand.(y) Don't mistake my frustration for dislike. I have to remind myself of that at times.

I have little idea what happened in Canada. I will have to ask my 84 year old cousin on British Columbia who's wife is 100% native.

Here are my thoughts: the continued discussion is like picking a scab. Leave it and it will heal. All through history bad things have happened to every race and nationality. Actually I think there is one race the human race. You and I have 99.99% the same genetic makeup as anyone else. Eye color, skin color, high cheek bones, large molars are simply response to habitat and we are only 10% of the total human genome.

Certainly many priests have abused children, native and white. I think at a very young age some now priests were not attracted to females, loved God. so decided to serve home. Foolishly the Catholic hierarchy decided priests could not fool nature. Like the poor women people denigrate for an overly active sex drive hormones hit us at different ages and they have a huge impact on our thought process. When something bad happens sometimes both are victims. One a victim of another person, and that person a victim of raging hormones and also they do lack in self control. So although victims of themselves still responsible to God and society.

I'm getting long winded and my arthritis is wiping me out so ---- later.

So did anyone else notice that a group of "Black Leaders" in FL issued an appology towards Gov. Ron Desantis for calling him racist and what not for rejecting that one AP black history class... because of what it taught.

Again... he didn't talk about not teaching the History... it was more the "theory" and it also had some gender stuff in it. Which isn't "history" it was all political.

Again... this shows you how the media and others throw around "racist" way too much. Hopefully people will stop doing it. It is like if someone cant win a discussion or what ever... they throw out RACIST. They cant win on facts or talking points. So they call the other party names. This is on all sides of the political spectrum. Be it Racist, Facist, Commie, etc.

Here is another video of Schiff saying a black mans opinion is "racist". Two things I have about this...

1. I thought People of color can't be Racist by many left/liberal talking heads and politicians?
2. Congressman Hunt is 100% correct!!!!
