Lots of people what to point the finger at Biden and his administration. Which you can for certain things with this supply chain issues.

But you can also point your finger at CA directly. Here is why.

I talked with an over the road trucker today who used to go to CA and the west coast. He told me the reason why there is "shortages" in CA is because of the emissions laws in that state. If you dont have a truck that is 2015 or newer or doesn't meet the emissions standards you are not allowed in that state.

So lets just look at it this way. If a walmart distribution center in AZ wants goods that are on a ship that is in port in Los Angeles. They need all 2015 or new trucks to go get the goods in that harbor.

Yea... CA is cutting the throats of all of us by not allowing these vehicles in the state. Their laws are hurting the whole USA.

These supply chain issues are only going to get worse. Product sitting on ship, factories that before covid were running 3 shifts a day are down to 1 shift a day and do not see getting back into full production for at least 18 months. People are panic buying putting more strain, and people just deciding not to work.

COVID caused more than 3 million Americans to retire early, a new Fed analysis finds (msn.com)

This is also something that is hurting the supply chain as well. People made money in retirement on the Stock Market under the Trump years. So they could retire a few years earlier. So now when these mandates and the stay home type thing that has been happening these past few years. People left the work force. Or are willing to leave the work force.

Think about it... if they get fired they can collect unemployment for awhile as well....then RETIRE. Plus the money they were getting from the Government as well or the promise of more money....ie: 4th check.

To be honest. Our government leaders are the ones who caused this issue... both past and present administrations. The current one isn't doing anything to help fix it for sure. But the success of the last one with retirement accounts helped foster an exodus of workers early. Then add in the stimulus checks and unemployment stuff that both administrations did made people say... I dont need to work.

Then add into the fact of world issues of the pandemic and power outages and what not... since we are dependent on them for many many goods. It was not a snowball it was an outright avelanche.
