I drove down to my in-laws yesterday evening and wouldn't you know it saw a flock of 200 snows and blues off in a corn field. It would have been the perfect sneak, slough right up to the area they were at, going into the wind. I could have got a few but of course the gun was at home. Oh, that's right Doug doesn't jump geese, that's unethical. I almost forgot that detail.

There is definatly geese still around. Had the best hunt of the spring over 50 north winds. Mostly juvys but had a few mature geese too. All together shot 13, 8 of them over the decoys and 5 while jumping the slough to set up the decoys. I was hunting around overly. They were all over today.
