We run 3 doz fb honkers, 2 doz goose shells an a doz fb mallard decoys! This is the first year we will be hunting in the fields and just woundering how you set them up and how do you mix the mallards in with the honkers? There will be 4 of us in the spread and we all have blinds!

Just messing with you.. but if you search the sight a bit I know there are threads very similar to this that may help you out.

Put the honker decoys in a big U shape...with the open side of the U with the wind. Put a honker decoy in front of each blind. Blinds will be in the u...spread out the mallard decoys in front of the blinds. If you have a spinner put that right out in front of the blinds. Use floaters in the spread to fill in.

Spread the decoys out.....a lot....make the spread as big as possible.

Turn off the spinner if there are geese coming in...it will scare them.
