does anyone ever get any specks in nodak or are they just the oddball goose? just curious. headed to an area east of minot and west of gf next week (not gonna say north or south of a certain us hwy, whose number may or may not be greater than 1 but less than 101) and we never see any. where do they show up generally -- come on, not in XXXX county or anything but generally. looking forward to another fun trip--whether there
are any ducks or not!!

I don't know much about them but I think they hang more to the west in the fall.

Me and a buddy were in the Central part of the state a few years ago, late in the seaon, everything froze up, but the snow's were moving through big time! We wound up with 4 specs in two days. There were small flocks mixed in with the snows. We hunting with some locals who have lived there their whole lives and never seen any before so who knows!?
