One of the common complaints I have heard/read about some layout blinds is the difficulty in getting in and out ( the feet) of those without a full length frame. Here is what I came up with. Track down some fiberglass tent poles. The flexible ones for the self supporting/dome tents. The thinnest stuff you can find will work best. Run one or two throught the stubble loops on the top of the blind, on the end where your feet are, bend and stick the ends in the ground. A couple of these should hold the top of the blind up providing too much weight is not added. Sticking them in at an angle away from the head of the blind also adds some tension.
