I dropped by Hobart south of I-94 about 4:20 Sat afternoon. Couldn't drive on as the landing was snowed in and two 4 wheelers were in the way anyway. There were two ice house in the middle and one group coming off. He said they had about 15 perch. I tried in 6 feet of water cause I didn't have a sled to haul my auger and just wanted to catch something fast so just got to the 6 foot stuff. Caught two right away then it got dark. The other guys there said they had about a dozen and a half. So they are still in there.

Same thing on the north side of 94. It did not die out. Early in Dec. we some good perch in the Sanborn slough complex 2 miles west of Hobart. You could mark them all the time, they would follow the jig up and down, but getting them to bite was tough. Biggest was 13".
