I was walking through the woods a while ago and I found some decoys. They are floaters and the have a few cracks and dents. I was wondering if it would be possible to fix them, just to add a bit to my spread. I was thinking that I could maybe seal the cracks by melting them, or I could just pump foam into them so thy float no matter what. Has anyone has come across this problem or anything similar?

They make these sticks that you can melt to patch waders, not sure if its wax based or oil but it seems to stay pliable even after it applied. Just heat the stick up with a lighter and dab it on there while its warm and smooth it out with a pocket knife or anything really. I know I've done a bunch of diver decoys that people have shot on me over the years. It works pretty well and its really quick, I had one morning I had to patch a ton of decoys for the next mornings shoot.
