When you look at the forum titles, there are rectangular-shaped objects to the left of them, some are white, some are yellow. What are they there for?

White ones mean no one has posted since the last time you closed your browser, or since the last time you opened the topic (if it was orange when you opened your browser).

Orange ones mean someone has posted since you last closed your browser, or they have posted since you last read the topic, if it was white before.
