So today my cdn goose possession limit is 10 (from the early season), but tomorrow morning (regular season) the possession limit goes down to 6. Does that mean I need to eat 4 geese for supper tonight? Or do I now have a combined early and later season possession limit of 16? Numbers are important you know.

That's a very good question and I was wondering the same thing. You'd think it'd still be ten, then again you never know. If you still have ten in a month from now that might get kinda of suspicous but technically I still don't know if the G&F could do anything about it because they can't tell if they're from the early season or not...anyone know?

pulling up an old post. how does the possession limit work? i got meat from like 8 geese in my freezer, and the possesion limit is 4 here a day

You can never have more than one possession limit in possession.

In fact, according to the fed warden, you can be in compliance with the early season limit and have consume or gift away enough birds to be in compliance for the regular season.

You can only have one possession limit in possession at any time.
