I did not see the interview, but this suggests she didn't do well with Charles Gibson:

On NPR this morning, they said she did fine, that she certainly didn't "implode" or say anything that set their campaign back.

I only heard a few clips from the interview. It didn't seem great, but it wasn't bad either. I think they are doing another interview on 20/20 tonight. I hope to catch that. I have heard Palin speak a few times since the RNC, and it seems like she keeps rehashing the same "we're going to shake up Washington" thing over and over. I hope to hear something new from her pretty soon.

Ya, that gives me a pain in the posterior too, but that's what politicians do. Have you ever heard the words "change" or "hope" before? :rollin:

I missed the speech too. I have heard that she paused momentarily when asked to tell them what the Bush policy was. She didn't understand the context. It was about defense and as soon as the question was made clear she explained it well. It was that when we know someone is going to hit us we make a preemptive strike.

Gibson repeatedly asked her the same questions, all in a differnet way.

"Charlie? Yes? Do I have to kick you in the nuts? I don't want to, but I will."

So much so I counld not watch the whole thing. I used to watch ABC's evening news but never again with Gibson. Never NBC, :******: so now I am back to watching Katie Couric :eyeroll:

I missed all of it, and am just now learning of it. But if zogman's pickin' Couric.....it must've been BAD!

Just a thought... Gibson wasn't overly kind to the media's golden boy in the debates, so do you think there's any possibility Charlie is trying to save face a little bit?

In his defense, it's his job as media to make them uncomfortable. ALL of them. I just wish it happened equally to both sides. Zogman's liberal friend makes me wonder if that was the case.

First check showed something you should know while digesting the posted article. A quick glance of the writer, Jeremy Gerard, not surprisingly shows the possibility of bias in his opinion. He admitted to crying when Hillary pulled out. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jeremy-gerard
