I was talking to a guy today that said "you know Obamas color doesn't bother me, he said it's what's on the inside that counts." He went on to say "Obama is communist red on the inside, I lived half my life in a communist country and if Obamas elected I'm moving. His ideas are so socialistic theirs no way I'm living with that again." I think he was honestly serious. I thought Obamas ideas were pretty socialistic too but he went on to point out the similarities and it was fairly staggering the similarity and the extent that he pointed out. He said "the american people are blind not to see what he wants to do." He was astonished to see the support Obamas gotten. Coming from someone that came from communist rule and really explain what that means it really makes Obama scary.
I got to a know a guy who came to this country from Viet Nam in 1972. It was around the end of the Clinton era that this happened. I have never met anyone who disliked Clinton or his policy as much as he did (does). I attribute that mainly to the fact that people who come here from that type of environment seem to value the freedom here more than far too many of us, and I think attempts to limit or take away certain freedoms are less likely to go unnoticed by them because they've lived it before. I wasn't around him post 9-11 to get his take on things like the Patriot Act...but it would be interesting to hear.
I know some will think that's a radical view, but it's the only conclusion I can come to myself. It's as if they are trying to drive the country into the ground, bring it to it's knees. I think they are doing it on purpose so they can blame it on the republicans and possibly get more votes. These people are possessed with their power. They are more loyal to the party than their country. How can I doubt it? Time after time they demonstrate it. If that isn't the case they better change their tactics because we are not the only ones starting to think this way.
I never thought I would think this, but it's hard to ignore the evidence.
How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.
Ring any bells for you? ding, ding, ding, :justanangel:
I also liked it when he was asked: "have you ever been to a communist country"? He said: "no but I have been to Massachusetts".
