I have never hunter North Dakota before and was wonder how long the ducks and geese hunting usually last. I plan on coming out to North Dakota and was wondering what the best time to come would be. I can come anytime between Oct 23 and November 16. I dont mind hunting hard and if anyone has any ideas on when is best and for what kinds of birds it would be very apprecieted.
Thanks

Its hard to know, because the weather can change over night and then the birds are gone, but at the same time the weather won't change so they won't mirgate at all.
late Oct / early Nov is generally a good time to shoot for
Watch out for the deer hunters then though!!!

exactly....deer season here gets everyone with a gun out...kind of dangerous in some areas
A lot of farmers hunt deer and won't let anyone on so the deer can settle down before the season opens.

Whether the corn is down is the big thing.

late Oct has been the best for our crew, how often do you hunt dakota's?
