It will definitely be interesting to see how many acres are enrolled in CRP during this time period. I have noticed a significant decrease in the number of acres in CRP over the past 5 years. This is linked to the increased requirements for land to qualify to be enrolled in CRP. Some great areas have been converted from CRP back to cropland because the contracts were not renewed because the land no longer qualified for the program. I have heard unconfirmed reports that these requirements are going to be significantly eased this year, does anyone have any more details on this?
