2008 MB Women's Hunt:
BOW-Delta Waterfowl Sponsor Mentored Women's Hunt in Minot
Delta Waterfowl has teamed up with the Becoming and Outdoors-Woman Program to sponsor a mentored women's waterfowl hunt Saturday and Sunday, September 27-28, 2008 in the Minot area. Participants will learn firearm safety and different aspects of hunting such as waterfowl identification, the importance of habitat, and decoying and calling. The weekend will conclude with a mentored hunt and game cleaning.
Requirements For The Program:
-Hunter safety certificate
-2008 hunting license & federal migratory duck stamp - may be purchased from license agents, G&F offices or online at www.gf.nd.gov
-Necessary equipment, including warm clothing and waders or rubber boots.
-Preregister for the hunt.
-Cost is $20
Lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday will be provided.
I would like to thank the Minot "West Dakota Waterfowlers" Delta Waterfowl chapter for taking some of the most precious time out of their schedules - duck opener!
The women that are participating during this mentored hunt will get some of the best education, hunting, etc. throughout the weekend...
