thanks, I am collecting information on Ice Fishing derbies aroud the world.
so far the besarest one I have seen is in ice land where they pull up 1200 pounders up through the ice.

I am interested in any and all anuel events big or small. 8)

If you're looking for bizarre ice fishing events I'd have to say the annual Eel Pout Festival on Leech lake ranks right up there.
