Hey Guys, we hunted this area (New Town) last fall, and are planning to be there again the second week of Oct. this year. We had a tremendous time, the goose hunting was awesome, and the people of N. Dakota were even better. I was amazed however at how few ducks we saw. Is this typical for this area, or are there usually more ducks around? We only had one morning in 7 days of hunting where we had mallards work our spread. Where we hunt in Canada, which is just a few hours straight N. from there we hammer the mallards every day. Do you think last yr. was typical, or unusual for that area? Also, any input or information on Canada goose activity in the area around New Town this yr. would be appreciated, thats where we will be staying. Thanks a bunch for any help guys. Good hunting!
