Is the 2 pm cutoff in November for hunting snows and Canada's a new rule or was it in effect in previous years? Thanks in advance!!

Shooting hours increase by two hours daily when we fall back to Central Standard Time. This has been the rule since I can remember. The theroy was that it reduced the chance that birds would be blown off the roost thus keeping more birds in an area longer and this tends to attract other birds that are flying through. Birds attract birds and the more birds the better!

The all day shoot for snows and Canada's has been changed. You may only hunt Canada's all day Wed and Sat this year. G&F has said the same thing Ron stated:

. More and more snows have been roosting in southern Manitoba and Sask and just flying over ND.
