HB 1501 - (Introduced by Rep's F. Klein, Carlson; Sen's Urlacher, Wardner) - Would amend the North Dakota Century Code allowing persons to hunt within 440 yards of an occupied building, without the occupant's consent, while hunting on public land, land leased by the department, land enrolled by the department for the purpose of hunting, or on land for which the department makes in lieu of tax payments. It would also prohibit private landowners from hunting on their own land if the land was within 440 yards of a neighbor's occupied building. Referred to Natural Resources Committee. No hearing set.

Have noticed a few more houses and trailers being built on private land, but directly adjacent to WPAs. Still ....
