HB 1050 has passed the house today 74-19.It puts in needed regulations on outfitters and guides.

This post hasn't gotten much attention since Ken's original. Suppose we were all holding our breath over 2048. In any event, this is a good bill, and we should all send a note of thanks to Representatives Porter, Hanson and Hunskor (I may be missing one more), who were the subcommittee that worked their tails off on this comprehensive and difficult bill between the first hearing and when it finally got reported out of HNRC. Sure, there are other things we would have liked to see out of this bill, but it's a huge step forward from where we're at now.
