Hey guys I was going to be in Harvey Oct. 8-13 with a couple other of my buddies over my fall break from college here in Illinois and I was just wondering about the water levels and duck numbers are like in the area?? We are mainly focusing on hunting puddle ducks in either potholes or fields. Also, I was wondering which type of potholes or fields are the best to hunt in your opinion as far as size and type??Any info would be appreciated.

Water and ducks are in good shape.

What type of sloughs??? the ones with ducks in them. :wink:

We prefer the 1 acre or smaller shallow sloughs. Easy to move around, easy to hide,and the ducks work them well.
