Hey-

I am jsut looking at some handhled GPS Units, not for sure if i will get one, but would like too! First off, what would be some that you would reccomend me to check out, I don;t want to spend over $300. Would use it mainly for waterfowl hunting, probably for fishing too. Do they come with the maps of an area? Or do I have to buy an extra map, to get good detail for my area? I have never used one before, do they show like little farm ponds and stuff like that? Gravel Roads? Fields?

Thanks for all the help

I would go with a Garmin. I have a Lawrance and I dislike it compared to a Garmin. The Garmin fits hunters better. Has better topo, and more fetures that fit hunters!
