So as their very first order of business the out of touch House Republicans pass their repeal of IRS funding, voting to remove $80 billion dollars that's aimed at addressing rich tax cheats. (Of course the GOP didn't frame it that way.)

So is this the type of hypocrisy we are going to see from House Republican majority over the next 2 years before they're kicked out of power (again)?

Do you think removing the IRS agent funding was really the first top of prioriority thing the American people wanted? OR was this done to satisy their GOP owners? Why not as suggested in the video create a bipartisan bill to provide narrow scope for who exactly is targeted with the new funding?

Is funny how you want to say it was to go after "rich" tax cheats. When it wouldn't do that at all. Lots of the "agents" were going to be IT guys and what not. IT was more aimed at Crypto.

But we all know that it never ends up going at the "rich". Just like all the tax bills in the past.

BTW... I am all for abolishing FEDERAL INCOME TAX.

What many dont understand is all the taxes US citizens pay. I am not talking about taking away your SS tax and Medicare Tax from your wages. But your income tax stuff. Because lets look at it. You get taxed on that income. Then when you spend that income you get taxed again (Sales, gas taxes, etc). Then if you happen to gift that income to someone... THEY GET TAXED. Then if you invest it or put it in a bank.... you get taxed on any interest gained. Your income gets taxed over and over and over again. Then throw in state taxes for people and local taxes and what not.


I am all for a flat tax rate of some sort. But again... US Citizens are getting taxed to death. The average citzen isn't getting a return on those taxes or proper represntation. I am pointing a finger at ALL THE PEOPLE IN CONGRESS... this isn't a dem vs rep thing.

Once again, you're not even replying to my post. Provide a timestamp on which part in it is false. I'm not sure where you get the narrative you are using as cover. The vast majority of the funding was to address those $46 billion dollars of unrecovered taxes that weren't filed. You can dance around the edges, and deny reality by trying to claim it was for IT etc, but at the end of the day, there is no justification for removing the funding, when the enforcement action of the IRS would recover any $$$ spent by taking it from the wealthiest 5% of Americans who aren't even filing taxes right now.

Again why target any one group? Perhaps a sales tax would be more fair. People on wages get ripped off compared to those who have writeoffs. I have seen data that if you took all the money every billionaire in America had it would make little difference. I have to say I am greatful for the rich. Yup, and I have practically no savings and live off retirement. The rich provide jobs not the poor. That doesn't mean I don't also care about the poor.

Sometimes I feel guilty we have it so good in America because of the rich. Think how much we would have to pay if the rich only had to pay their share. A rich persons car doesn't wear a road out faster than a poor person's car. It doesnt cost more to educate a rich man's child than a poor person.

When it comes to being fair be careful what you ask for you may get it. If we were fair we would look at our budget, divide it by our population, and that's what we would pay. I wouldnt complain at all about my taxes if some of it didn't go to murder children in the womb. I wouldn't complain so much if my taxes didn't pay the truly lazy. I wouldn't complain so much if my taxes didn't go to grooming the youth to be perverts. etc etc etc.

Greed drives people to steal more from the rich through taxes only because they are cowards to do it at gunpoint. Through taxes they get politicians to do it for them.

I suppose I should also say I don't have any rich relatives, or benefit from any rich person. I do benefit from many rich people who pay ten, one hundred, perhaps thousands of times more taxes than I do. Many people I have to say are very stupid. They want to throw a rich person in jail if they don't pay income tax a year or two. Most rich people don't take a salary. They live off investments. Some years they actually loose money, yet the parasites want more. Liberals may ask why I defend them. Because I have a conscience, and intelligent enough to know what's truely fair.

I guess Mach doesn't understand the system. i know they are saying Millionares dont pay anything in taxes and what not. They point to Trump, Bezos, etc. Well they used the system to their advantage. Dont blame the people who use the system... right? I mean liberals say conservatives are "racist" if they bring up welfare mothers who keep having kids so they dont have to work.... etc.

But also these liberals are not understanding that people were taxing HUGE losses and just pushing using those losses that year as a tax deduction down the road. So when AMAZON was in its infant stage and Bezo was losing money while building his empire. he didn't take those losses he pushed them down the road so he could take those deductions when it was making BILLIONS. That is what has happened over and over. It gives these innovators an incentive to keep pushing and pushing for advancement. Gates did it, Jobs did it, etc. But you dont hear people *****ing about those two do you.

It isn't Whataboutism... .when it is FACTS. I posted FACTS that the CBO came out and stated that the Trump Tax cuts paid for themselves. So all the lies about how the tax cuts were BAD, only for the rich, etc. was all pure political BS by the left.

Same goes for the smoke screen of saying well TRUMP caused the debt to raise.... Ok it did happen under Trump. Not a lie... but not telling the Truth either. Look at some facts...

1. Dems controlled the house and senate for 2 of those years.
2. Covid hit and with that spending JUMPED
- Checks went out to people
- Gov loans were given to people and many dont have to be paid back
- Business and other things were SHUT DOWN... so less income and with that less taxes collected.

So was it all TRUMPS FAULT... nope. Who had control and could have stopped spending for 2 years?

But again... people dont like to actually talk FACTS. They would rather state opinion as FACTS.
