Just wondering what you guys noticed during the e-season this fall. From what I saw you couldn't call enough, the geese ate up just about everything. The more noise we made, the more geese we'd pull. What's weird is that when I was in WI I noticed exactly the opposite...the calling spooked the birds. It got to the point where we weren't even calling out there besides maybe throwing in a cluck or murmur to finish them.

What'd you guys notice?

I'd definately agree guys. Had the same thing happen this early season. They were loving the calling. Just wish they'd love it all year long.

Opener morning the birds acted weird (guys were hunting between the roost and our field, I think the shooting spooked them), and they weren't responding well to the calling. Other than that the birds responded well to heaving calling.

We had one morning where the hollaring at them didn't work, so we just clucked a bit and the laydown. All the other mornings the more calling the better.
