I will be duck hunting just outside Donnybrook beginning on October 6th. Can anyone tell me about the water levels or duck population? Any info is appreciated.
David-- I hunt northeast of where you hunt and have been for a couple years. Donnybrook has had reported rain later in the summer (the fellow I stay with is in Greene next to Upper Souris) Now, from what i remember, the potholes I saw around Donnybrook are more semipermanent and of deeper structure, due to the topography of the area. I can't imagine them being dry. If you look on a plots map or topo map you will see about a buzillion potholes in that region. Scout and you should have no problem. Email me if you have any questions [email protected].
