A tip from hunters led authorities in Hubbard County, Minn., to discover a marijuana-growing operation near Lake George.
According to the Hubbard County Sheriff's Department:
Small-game hunters were in an area south of Lake George on Wednesday when they noticed some marijuana plants.
A short time later, a man approached them yelling for them to get off his property or he would have them arrested.
The hunters went to authorities, who obtained search warrants for property owned by John Rowland, 52.
Investigators found marijuana plants drying in an old barn and seized more than 220 growing marijuana plants in addition to about 60 pounds of processed marijuana.
Rowland was arrested on suspicion of third-degree controlled substance crime, the Sheriff's Department said.
