Great question. The answer is No.
I'd be fully supporting McCain if he chose Pawlenty, or even someone like Kay Bailey Hutchison from Texas.
At least those folks had experience needed for the office. It is blatantly obvious what McCain's tactic was. It was foolish and reckless, and shows how he would make decisions if elected to office.
The reason it is such a critical decision, and I believe ultimately will cost him the election, is that a substantial portion of the population believes he won't make it thru a full term. Thus the VP will become Pres, and Palin scares the living daylights out of me (and MANY others) as a President given her belief system.
