Would someone familiar with the structure of the Pheasantfest at Hettinger outline it please? As I understand it the Hettinger Pheasants Forever chapter runs this the local chamber of commerce.

Pheasantfest is a weeklong festival in Hettinger. They have contests, longest tailfeather, spurs, etc. On Friday night the Pheasants Forever chapter hosts a landowner appreciation banquet. It is like a regular PF banquet except that through various sponsorships they underwrite the cost of inviting landowners to attend for free. They really stress the importance of landowners to the future of pheasants and hunting. I have heard that it is a blast and that landowners really open their places up that week. The PF committee from Fargo went last year.
