I know that this is mainly a North Dakota forum, but when I was driving back from the Twin Cities today, I notcied quite a few large flocks of canadas between Alexandria and Fergus Falls right off of I-94. Most of them looked like they were working the corn pretty hard, and I also saw a huge tornado of mallards no more than 2 miles from the freeway. Not only that, but a flock of at least 500 canadas flew directly over I-94 at about 5pm, i assume on there way back to the water just south of Fergus. Once again, I was seeing most of them coming from a corn field just off the freeway. Maybe there might be a last ditch effort if anyone who is from Minnesota and is checking this site. Good luck to anyone that can find these birds!!
