I know that this is mainly a North Dakota forum, but when I was driving back from the Twin Cities today, I notcied quite a few large flocks of canadas between Alexandria and Fergus Falls right off of I-94. Most of them looked like they were working the corn pretty hard, and I also saw a huge tornado of mallards no more than 2 miles from the freeway. Not only that, but a flock of at least 500 canadas flew directly over I-94 at about 5pm, i assume on there way back to the water just south of Fergus. Once again, I was seeing most of them coming from a corn field just off the freeway. Maybe there might be a last ditch effort if anyone who is from Minnesota and is checking this site. Good luck to anyone that can find these birds!!

Saw tons of geese between Fergus and Morris last Wed afternoon and 1 big flock of ducks. But, duck season is closed in Mn. Pretty sure the goose season is closed for the zone that is south of I-94 in the Fergus/Morris areas until the late season opens on Dec 6th or 7th.
