I know this might sound like dumb question, but will snow geese dump into a canada goose spread??? We never see snows in West Michigan. At least I have'nt
Thanks in advance,
Duckjunky
yes......last year we set on field that was holding a lot snows and due to the fact we had few snow dekes we set all our canadas. 3 of us shot 45 sitting in 12 dozen canada fullbodies and 3 dozen snow fullbodies blowing only short reed canada calls
Yes they will however, I have had good success running only a half dozen full bodies or 50 sillo socks in a canada spread in the late fall and hammering the snows. That is if you are on the X. If you are not on the X you will obviously need more decoys!
We've shot quite a few snows over dark dekes. Rarely are they "decoying" mostly just giving us a close look as they fly over to land 100 yards upwind and hog out all the feed.
