returned home from our annual trip on the weekend, and once again had an outstanding time. In fact, this was the best trip we've ever had. Ducks and pheasants galore. Even got a Hun...my first ever. I won't bore anyone with pictures...you've all seen them before. Suffice to say that the field hunting was phenomenal this year. Even though I pride myself on not being focused on limits, it was nearly impossible not to shoot a limit this year. One day I quit early with only a few and just watched.
So once again want to thank our regular hosts for their hospitality. And I'll say again what I've said for years...we hunted 6 straight days, and only ran across one other hunting party the whole time. I'm sincere when I say your state continues to amaze me, and I hope you all realize the gem you have there.
