I thought the national grasslands were a federal or forest service reg.. Walking around there aren't any ndgfd signage. I would like to know because there are signs marking corners and boundrys of the grasslands, but they seem to be on the wrong side of the fence, in some locations, bordering private property. I know there would be trouble if a landowner, or that a-hole by mirror pool caught you in the wrong side of the fence. Were those markers put in before, after or moved?

Great question.

I think you should give the district warden a call in your area. He'll have the exact info you are looking for, as the Grasslands area is one of his major responsibilities...

Call the Wahpeton District office and leave a message. They'll likely get back to you in a day or so.

If you can't reach them by the weekend, hit me with a PM and I'll get you in touch with the right people.
