Same here S&A... I helped put out a house fire that burned up a dog. The people kept their dog in a kennel box in the house of all places. They ran and left their poor dog to burn, my brother was in their trying to rescue it but there was flames and holes in the floor. Yes it did howl when it died, I can still hear it.
I will never leave a dog penned in a house without a person there to let it out if need be. Especially in a kennel box, it has absolutely no chance in one of those.
