Neighbor stopped by yesterday. Said last duck season he had a phone call from hunters wanting permission on his posted land. He said no, but thanks for calling

Next morning he finds them hunting his land.
Warden responded to his call.
Hunters:
1.We didn't know it was posted.
--uh, you parked next to the sign.
2. We didn't know how to contact landowner.
Uh...his cell phone shows the call you mayesterday.
3. I'm a volunteer firefighter!

Anyway. Hired lawyer. Spending thousands on legal maneuvers.
State attorney. Not giving up.

That's the problem with most people If and when you get sideways or knowingly break the law be a man about it and take your punishment's like a man. DUI is a prime example, in my younger and wilder days I broke that law and never tried to weasel out of the punishment. Got way more respect for a man or woman who owns up to the crime, regardless if it was intentional or not
