THIS SHOULD SCARE EVERYONE...

So I am posting a picture of EO's done by the last few presidents in their first 3 days of office.

The reason why this should scare everyone is that we are moving away from a democracy and more into a "dictatorship".

When a sitting president just does EO's and doesn't go thru congress. It shows alot of things...

1. congress isn't doing their jobs
2. It will be a 1 "ruling' type party... so whom ever is in power will do things just for their party.
3. The people are not getting represented... just interest groups and whom every the president sees fit.
4. Nothing will get done because the next president will just sign EO's undoing what the past president did.


This isn't a republican vs Democrat... or a conservative vs liberal....

this should scare people. It is setting a precedent on what our future will look like. Just like with impeachment.... didn't a republican already try to bring up impeaching Biden over the "hunter" scandal. Which we still haven't gotten to the bottom of yet. Biden could be absolved or guilty we dont know.

Time will tell how this plays out. It’s a very quick jump for sure.

Going back to Reagan presidents have ran about 35 to 50 EOs per year.

FDR averaged over 300 per year

Truman 120 ish.

Carter 80

Trump 55

Obama 35

Bush 36

Clinton 46

Bush 42

Reagan 48

I am saying is why should a president do EO's if Congress is supposed to be working FOR THE PEOPLE.

It seems they are not. Also look at what the EO's are.... are some fringe stuff tailored to a specific fringe group? Or are they good for the USA as a whole?

Also with FDR.... what were those? Get us out of a depression or were war time stuff. Same goes for Truman.

Also it seems that many of Biden's right now are undoing Trumps.... which like I stated should be seen as a problem. Because that is what is getting set up for the future... just changing the past presidents EO's. It is all about a political party pissing match... not what is good for the country.

One has to ask when our standard of living improved under Trump why would we undo his work. I have a small savings in an annuity that I draw $200 a month from. After four years of Trump I have a bit more than I started with. I had been down about $4000.

Trump also did a dozen EOs since the election. Some minor non consequential ones and some not, but it was a very large percentage of the total in a very short time that many saw as an attempt to hamstring the next administration.

Personally I would like to see EO power reigned in altogether.

Didn’t Obiden say last Oct. that issuing executive orders is something only a dictator would do? Don’t really recall his exact words, but it was something like that.

You know I need to rethink some of y previouse ststements. Especially that democrats arnt stupid. They are stuoid and only smarter than the average door knob. This thread is ths shoukd scare everyone. The democrats are very scared. They know voters will be back in 22 and 24 with a vengance. The house gain showed people thst the average American agrees with Trumps policies. Thats why they want to impeach Trump. This will work out better than I hoped. Talking to libs on here didnt give me the right perspective. Even common every day democrats want congress to get to work instead of the perpetual hate Trump. Also many of Bidens EO have left them scratching their head.

The reason why is he is catering to more of the fringe people in the Democratic party. That is the issue. He isn't as far out as Bernie or AOC.... but he is doing thing closer to that direction than the middle.

This is showing you that the Democratic party is sliding further to the Left than people realize. Not the citizens but the actual leaders. They were scared when a guy like Bernie just about got the nomination....TWICE. So they think that is what they need to do.

BTW.... i just read that in the first 7 days Biden has done 40 EO's.

Like I mentioned this should scare the hell out of everyone. This means that our elected officials are not doing the will of the people. This shows congress isn't doing their jobs either. We can go all the way back to Clinton/Bush years when a lot of this BS started in Congress. Instead of working for the people they wanted to play politics and have power grabs. Which is exactly what is playing out now in both parties. It is sad.

And if you dont think so.... Why are headlines like this.... Senate can move forward with out any votes from (insert political party) to push a bill forward. or House of Reps can send a bill to the Senate with out any votes from (insert political party).

yeah... how many of these head lines do you read.... TOO MANY!!! The sad part is the Majority Leaders are the ones who seem to "brag" about this.
