Leupold Scope

Postby The Norseman » Sat Oct 31, 2020 8:00 am

I would recommend this scope. The Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40,
30mm tube, Red Dot recital, Matte finish.

It was reasonably priced, at one of our New Big Box Farm stores.

Meant for another Rifle, but to try it out I Clamped it on my 308.

When sighing it in the Tracking is very precise. Some how I
lucked out and only had to adjust Elevation. 6" high,
adjusted, then 1" high, adjusted, 1/4" above middle.

The FireDot is very nice, especially in low light situations. Push
Button on left side of Adj. knobs, each push of the button
intensifies the Red Dot, then keep pushing it starts to bring
down the intensity. Hold 3 seconds turns off at last setting.

Thank for reading my Field Test.

I am really enjoying this Leupold Scope. The Scope and the FireDot within has
held up under the Recoil of my .308 Win and my 270 Winchester Short Magnum
I'm developing Reloads for.

Now I just got to get out and hunt some Coyotes

Thanks for reading my update.
