WTB - 243

Want to purchase a 243 caliber rifle. Prefer a Remington 700 with stainless steel barrel model LVSF as my first preference. A camo or blued barrel Remington 700 would be my second choice. Light fluted barrel preferred, standard barrel second choice, not interested in any heavy barrel rifles. Winchester Model 70's considered.

I do have a rifle that I would consider in a trade if seller preferred to do that over a cash deal. I have a Browning BAR Short Trac in 243 caliber (Camo) threaded barrel that I would consider trading or including with my BAR 243. The rifle weight is 6 lbs 10 ounces which makes it a nice carry rifle for coyotes or big game. I shot 75 grain Hornaday V-Max for yotes and 100 grain Remington Core-Lokt for deer with excellent results. In sighting in I shot 3/4" groups @ 100 yds, usually 2 rounds touching, third round within the 3/4". Could be a hold issue on third round. Less than 75 rounds fired through this rifle.
