Hunting Sunrises & Sunsets

If you’ve read about the 5 stages each hunter goes though in his or her life, you’ll understand how we progress as individuals and how we relate to our surroundings. One thing that seems to never get old to me is watching the sun rise or set when I’m out and about each fall. Each sunrise or sunset is as unique as a snowflake, although very similar, they’re never the same. I always carry my camera with me throughout my travels, and I always take time to stop and soak in the sun. Here are a few of my favorites that bring back some of my favorite memories from prior falls:

This sunrise was officially our start to the 2007 duck hunting season

This was the sunset on my first ever day in Saskatchewan hunting geese.

Late season mallard hunting along the Missouri River

This is how I wish every sundown ended each and every day of the fall.
