Just picked up a Sightron SIII 8-32X56mm scope, but haven't had much chance to use it. Any one have or use one, if so what did you think?

Nothing wrong with Sightron. They're a pretty good scope that most people overlook because of the name.

Had an SII for awhile. Nothing wrong with the glass and it tracked well. The only reason I got rid of it was the 1/8" adjustments, just didn't like them. No experience with the SIII. They are better than most in the same price range.

Still have only had a brief moment to shoot with this scope, it seems ok, but I really don't think it was up to the quality of the 2 mark 4s(I have read it is supposed to be in that range) I have shot. Maybe once I get a chance to really sit down with it I will change my mind. Thanks for the info guys!

It should be interesting to see what you think of it......I'm planning on either a SII Big Sky SS 4.5-14x44 or a SIII 3.5-10x44 for my next scope purchase. Let me know if you plan on heading up to the range up north some day...maybe I'll be able to come take a peek through it.

I will let you know, if I can. Most of my shooting is spur of the moment stuff, but I plan to do some load testing for the 6mmBR and also some more with my AR, and 6.5X284. I will make plans some time, and shoot you a PM.

Good little thread here and was looking into getting a Sightron scope myself. I good friend of mine had one on his Rem700 varmint rifle and hes shot great with it and a clear scope for the price. :D
